If you have ever asked your children to "Turn off the video games and go outside," you will love Wilderness Kids club. Here is an online membership site (free, of course) that takes children through a self-guided tour of outdoor activities that not only teaches them things like survival skills, wildlife observation, and the care and preservation of the "Great Outdoors*" but also encourages cooperation with others through mastering social skills.
Sound too good to be true? It isn't. Take some time to check out the program. We think you'll be glad you did.
Blessings on your day,
Lilly, the Light Housekeeper
(who only does light housework)
*Wilderness Kids Club is age-relevant. Which means the "Great Outdoors" for ages 4 -7 might be their own backyard. But for 7 and above it will mean whatever area of trees and grass nearby (community park, nature park, pastures, school fields, etc.) which they can get to by themselves and have permission to spend time in.
